The university is a merge of two famous and well-trusted universities: Bashkir State University and Ufa State Aviation Technology University. The merge was done to renovate the education system, to implement innovative technologies and methods of teaching and surf development of infrastructure. The merge is the first step to establish a world-class Eurasian Research and Educational Center. 

The location of the university’s building is in the central, historical part of Ufa. It is easy to move between buildings even on foot.
